An odd duck of a pistol
I was looking at a 2008 gun price magazine and found this oddity.
http://eaacorp.com/witness-fcp-description.html http://www.eaacorp.com/witness-fcp-TP.html http://www.eaacorp.com/images/WitnessFCP.jpg Is it just me or have EAA designed a firearm that doesnt even come close to any kind of known action on the market (IE: truly unique?)??? Has anyone seen one of these up close and personal? Theres not too much information out there but heres some excerpts Quote:

soooo.... someone got paid ta come up w/ this?

Re: An odd duck of a pistol
Website linked says the motivation was to make a pistol that was "simple, reliable and very reasonably priced". Says this pistol has only 4 moving parts.
Multi caliber, simple mechanics, reliability on par with revolver, cheap....i might see a niche in the CCW market, i guess. |

Doesn't seem low enough for what it seems they're after... |
Re: An odd duck of a pistol
It eliminates the need for expensive magazines but now you have to keep track of lots of little tubes.
Are the tubes ejected ? Then you would need to try and collect all of the ejected tubes. Not for me. |
Re: An odd duck of a pistol
Plus the brass cases in the tubes are probably expanded making them not reloadable or very short case life.
Do not put a +P load in that plastic chamber. |
Re: An odd duck of a pistol
This is what Eaa replied back to me via an email after I sent to them asking if anyone down here had one for sale.
